The 6th annual Miamibloco’s Saideira Social unites Afro-Brazilian rhythm traditions with Miami’s global sound. Bateria Saideira’s 80-piece Samba Orchestra features Brazilian legends Gabriel Policarpo of Rio Carnaval champion Viradouro, wind-sculptor jazz master Carlos Malta, Rose Max, Ramatis Moraes, Bóka Reis, plus Magela Herrera, Electric Kif, Roberto Viscaino Jr, Gustavo & Guilhrme Oliveira, mestres of 9x Carnaval champion Salgueiro Samba School “Bateria Furiosa.” The night starts at 7pm with a Roda de Samba Raiz by Samba da Antiga. This 6th volume of “the Saideira Social” is pure body heat, street energy, and creation in motion powered by jazz and samba.
