Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, the heart of bossa nova and samba, Rose Max and Ramatis moved to the U.S. in 1993 and have maintained a vibrant performing career ever since. Celebrated in Brazilian, Spanish, and American communities, they’ve earned numerous awards – Rose as Best Brazilian Singer and Ramatis as Best Brazilian Producer/Musician. Ramatis is a guitarist, bassist, songwriter, producer, arranger, and sound engineer. Rose is a singer-songwriter who also plays percussion and enjoys acoustic guitar at home.
