Jazz at the J: Phill Fest

Brazilian jazz musician and recording artist, Phill Fest brings the sounds of Brazil to the MARJCC’s Alan and Diane Lieberman Theater. Originally a rock musician, jazz was always a part of Phill’s upbringing. His father, Manfredo Fest, was a Brazilian Jazz and Bossa pioneer. Phill Fest incorporates his father’s influences combined with bossa nova, samba, and modern jazz… celebrating the vibrancy and rhythm of Brazilian-inspired music.
