Jazz at the J: Abstract Citizen

With the recent passing of the legendary composer, musician, recording artist, and two-time Grammy Award winner Chuck Mangione, ABSTRACT CITIZEN, under the direction of guitarist and composer Aaron Lebos, will celebrate his enduring legacy in a special concert capturing the magic of his music. Best known for his 1978 Top 5 hit “Feels So Good,” Mangione recorded more than 30 albums, contributed music to two Olympic Games (Montreal 1976 and Lake Placid 1980), and was a member of one of the most influential jazz ensembles of the 20th century – Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers.
