Jazz Gallery Arts Experience

WDNA presents the Jazz Gallery Arts Experience with artist Gabriel da Silva and flutist Nestor Torres, featuring Out of Place, a solo exhibition by artist Gabriel da Silva, and a special performance by international flute sensation Nestor Torres.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Gabriel spent 14 years in Madrid before settling in Miami. His work is shaped by a life of constant displacement – from Brazilian Hip Hop and graffiti to European masters like Bosch and contemporary influences like anime and street culture. The music portion of the evening will feature a special, intimate presentation with Latin Grammy winner Nestor Torres, known for his engaging and inspiring performances. The internationally recognized flutist has collaborated with Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, Paquito D’ Rivera, and with orchestras around the world. The evening includes an opening reception at 7pm with catering provided by Old Lisbon Restaurant.
